WE HAVE A CHANCE UNDER TRUMP

In a landmark speech after blowing the doors off Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential Election, Donald J. Trump vowed to push back against censorship in America. This spells good news for conservatives who’ve been muzzled for far too long under the likes of Obama and Biden.

Mr Trump didn’t mince words in his video address, promising to preserve freedom of speech in America. According to 47, the time to protect free speech is now.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS ATTAINED IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS

Trump believes Big Tech is responsible for the gradual censorship American Conservatives have experienced over the past decade. He posits that censorship undermines the very fabric that once made America a beacon of freedom for the rest of the world. Consequently, the President-Elect’s words do not appear to be just grandstanding; he laid out a specific plan with hopes of breaking up censorship in America.

TRUMP’S PLAN

No more muzzling the pro-gun lobby; this means we can finally post a bevy of gun-related content on varying platforms without the fear of being shadow-banned by big-tech companies. 

An executive order courtesy of Trump would prevent any federal agency from colluding with private companies with the sole intent to censor American citizens. The central goal is to level the playing field, facilitating an online environment where a multitude of gun-related topical issues can be discussed without the fear of reprisal.

This is music to the gun world’s ears. Under the previous administration, Americans witnessed their First and Second Amendment rights evaporate into thin air. Big Government interfered in the lives of citizens under the guise of protecting the greater good from potentially troublesome views; shadow banning at its finest.

This type of behavior effectively normalizes censorship, implicitly sending a message to Americans that Big Brother has the right to intervene when it sees fit.

The days of collusion between Big Tech companies and elected officials with left-leaning views are over. Furthermore, the President-Elect is stacking his administration with names that have little to do with the D.C. machine.

THE ELECTION’S FALL-OUT HAS DEMS QUESTIONING WHAT HAPPENED

The Democratic Party must be questioning what went so wrong on Super Tuesday. Did they envision losing to Trump? Probably, but not as handily as they did. Theories as to the cause of Trump’s landslide victory are circulating. A few possible reasons for Trump’s dominance:

IT’S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!

Under the Biden Administration, inflation skyrocketed, and Americans struggled with basic necessities. In addition, Biden’s unwavering support of Ukraine in its war against Russia compounded the problem. I don’t care who you are, sending billions in cash overseas in the name of freedom while Americans suffer doesn’t fly.

Americans Are Smarter Than Most Elected Officials Think

Kamala Harris enlisted the endorsement of celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift, and Jennifer Lopez, yet it didn’t give the Democrats the surge they were hoping for.

Why? Because the conventional celebrity archetype in the U.S. is heading towards extinction. Many of these so-called celebs had the gall to criticize Americans who willfully chose to cast a vote in Trump’s favor. We are talking about sovereign U.S. citizens of sound mind exercising their Constitutional rights.

In contrast, Trump’s popularity skyrocketed with the support of popular, anti-establishment personalities like Elon Musk and Joe Rogan.

It was another example of Trump reading the room and knowing what the average American currently feels and needs to hear. In recent days, reports that his son Barron was responsible for pushing him to interact with the likes of Rogan and the NELK Boys surfaced. It appears that Trump is playing chess while the left complacently plays checkers.

IMMIGRATION: AKA BORDER INVASION

America owes a great deal to the wave of immigration it experienced throughout the 20th Century. Irish, Italians, Japanese, Mexicans [other countries of origins as well] helped shape America into the powerhouse it became and hopefully still can be. These immigrants assimilated and possessed an unmatched work ethic in the pursuit of the American Dream. They did so legally.

Under the Biden Administration, thousands of undocumented aliens with murky backstories flocked through our borders. Many of these ‘asylum seekers’ have criminal histories for varying violent crimes committed back home. Yet inexplicably, our own government housed these individuals and awarded them thousands in disposable income — all while actual Americans struggled to make ends meet. 

Consequently, this phenomenon did not sit well with countless Americans. They voiced their displeasure by siding with Trump. The rest, as they say, is history.
