With President Biden’s cognitive decline no longer in doubt, former First Lady Michelle Obama could be a last-minute replacement for the Democratic Presidential Nomination.
Many will cite this as an improbability that only the most seasoned of conspiracy theorists will believe. Nonetheless, it begs the question: if Michelle Obama ran against Trump, could she somehow punch her way into the Oval Office?

Regardless of your views about the woman [I’m being nice here], having her on the Democrats’ ticket is dangerous.
Obama is well-liked by the Left, and any figure who can galvanize a throng of potential voters can turn a Presidential Election upside down.
Take Trump’s performance in 2016. When he announced his bid to run for President, the majority of political pundits and media scoffed. They asserted with supreme confidence that the business mogul had zero chance of beating Hillary Clinton.
Soon afterward, something funny happened. The notion of someone outside D.C. running the country for a change rejuvenated a largely apathetic populace.
Who’s to say a similar phenomenon won’t sweep through the Union if Obama suddenly replaced Biden on the Democratic ticket? The thought of America’s first female President is appealing to millions of Americans. Factor in her likeability, and there’s a real-world scenario where Michelle Obama overshadows even an enormous personality like Trump.
The Ramifications of an Obama in Office [Again]
Assuming that Michelle Obama somehow managed to pull this off; what would it mean for the average American?
First off, gun owners would suffer. With Obama at the helm, Democrats would make an immediate push for stricter gun laws. We all know the Left will do anything it can to disarm its citizens.

The Russian-Ukraine battle that’s ongoing, and now the turmoil in Gaza. Read the tea leaves, and it’s obvious the hawks in D.C. covet another war involving the U.S.
It’s been twenty years since the last major war America was entangled in. We all know how that turned out. Yet despite the obvious casualties of war, the globalists running the world see it as just another way to make billions while the common man suffers.
Whether Trump is any different is debatable. However, what is undeniable is the billions Biden and company funneled to Ukraine. Compound this with the thousands of illegal migrants flooding into our borders, and it’s obvious the destruction of the U.S. is what they’re after.
What Republicans Are Saying About Michelle Obama
Many Republicans including Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and Sen. Ted Cruz have been outspoken about their belief that Biden won’t make it to the 2024 Election. As far as timeline, the theory is that somewhere near the Democratic National Convention, Biden will experience a health-related emergency that will cause him to walk away. Then, during the Convention, the Democrats will announce Michelle Obama as their candidate for the White House.
An excerpt from Cruz on FoxNews’ Sean Hannity last fall:
“I think the odds are very significant that next summer at the DNC, the Democratic Party will jettison Joe Biden, and they will parachute in Michelle Obama to be their candidate. No one I know thinks Biden is going to be the nominee.”
However, it won’t be easy to pull this off so close to the election. Nonetheless, just days ago Obama herself quelched the rumor mill by stating overtly she has no desire to run for office. Yet, one thing I’ve learned in my fifth decade of existence is that when political figures say one thing, expect the exact opposite.

Other Democratic Contingencies
What is of growing concern for the Democrats is the deterioration of Biden’s mental capacity. Time and again, you’ll find the President bumbling words an elementary schooler would have no difficulty with. A recent report by a special counsel concluded Joe Biden exhibits diminished faculties.
In said report, Biden struggled to recount what years he was vice president. He even forgot the year of his son’s death. Scathing reports like this will make it hard for the incumbent come November. Biden doesn’t have the safety of a pandemic to duck behind when the time to debate arrives.
Again, though highly unlikely, the Dems could possibly be seeing the writing on the wall. Perhaps they really are biding time before they prop up a well-liked personality like Obama from left field to take on Trump for the right to run the country.
Whatever the playbook is, rest assured that this Presidential election will lay the foundation for where America is headed. We may see a rematch of Trump vs Biden, and unlike 2020, Biden won’t have the luxury of the novel coronavirus to hide his diminished mental state.
Or, a last-minute replacement by the Dems like Michelle Obama could unexpectedly enter the race and flip the election in their favor.
