For those who may be unaware, Patrick E. Kelley is one of the nation’s top 3-Gun shooters and dabbles in gunsmithing. This not only gives him a unique peek into how a gun works, he can squeeze every bit of performance out of on the range as well. To test new firearms, Patrick does not simply take it to the range once or twice, or even form his opinion by taking it to the range for several trips. Instead, Patrick takes it out of the box, loads the magazines and proceeds straight to match! The gun’s performance dictates what happens next. In this video, Patrick gives the Bersa BP9CC pistol a go at the range.
According to Patrick and simply put, “Shooting a 9mm compact carry gun may not net you a win at a steel shooting match, but this little dude from Bersa held on to 3rd Overall combined for Limited and OPEN!” You sure can’t complain about that. Watch this video and tell us what you think in the comment section.
Out of the box, the BP9CC was less than perfect, but still a strong performer for the author. What has your experience been? Share your review in the comment section!

I’ve had a BP9CC for 3 or 4 years now. My experience is similar to yours. Great gun, great ergonomics, great trigger and for a really good price. I’ve got about 5000 rounds through it. I’ve probably had 5 or 6 failure to feeds in that time, using every kind of ammo.
Now that I’m used to it, I don’t grip on the bottom of the trigger and don’t pinch my finger when shooting it. It’s a compact gun, but shoots very similar to a full size. One of my buddies who is a competitive shooter says its the best trigger he’s seen out of the box. Can’t recommend it enough.
