It was a good run. But, now, the show must go on. Donald J. Trump’s days in the White House are just about up, with Joe Biden set to take up residency later this week. The question to ask; was Trump any different than some of our past leaders? Or was he just another puppet concocted by the Elite?
Trump was divisive, period. Anyone with a brain would agree to as much. Make America great again. It’s always been great, man. The slogan seeps with isolationist rhetoric. Theoretically, I have no objections to it. Drawing a line in the sand and stating that objective number one is your own country isn’t some revolutionary thought.
That wasn’t my issue with the man. In fact, I find him charismatic and a born leader. When he speaks, like him or not, you end up listening.
What became increasingly unbearable as Trump’s Presidency wore on was the great pains he went to divide our country and placate his base.
Most of it was theatre, and all of it had one main objective; to pit Americans against one another.
It’s quite simple, really. The world is run by the one percent of the one percent. Puppeteers, royal bloodlines that have clung to power for centuries now and who go to great lengths to sustain their influence.
Media; they control. Politics; same thing goes. Money; you guessed it. The best way to sustain power is to inundate those below you with fear. Pump them with it, and don’t ever stop.
The 1950’s was the Red Scare and threat of imminent attack by the wicked Soviet Union. The2000’s it was Terrorists, bloodthirsty Islamists with one purpose; to destroy all Americans. No footnote of our pillaging many of the countries these extremists call home.
The Cold War, our War On Terrorism, today’s Coronavirus Pandemic; what usually follows during these events is the trampling of civil liberties.
Donald J. Trump; just another puppet. The longer he remained in the Oval Office, the more obvious it became he was no different than BO, GWB, WJC, GBS, and the list goes on.
I applaud his resilience, but in no way do I believe for a moment that the draining of the swamp was truly his intent. His coaches wore headsets. He wore a helmet. He snapped the pigskin at center, and the play call over and over again; divide the sheep, and let us conquer.
The next time you find yourself complaining about the state of affairs in our Union, take solace in knowing that things are far worse north of the border. The reason; Canadians are not permitted to own firearms. Period.
Think about it for a moment; those in power, the military and law enforcement, stalk Canadian streets with weapons while the average Canadian can best defend himself with a hockey stick.
Now imagine what the powers that be in the United States would pull if we Americans didn’t possess Constitutional Rights to own a firearm. Pretty damn scary when you let such a hypothetical marinate.
No matter how dire things might get, we must learn to unite. Let us stand for the principles our forefathers so brilliantly devised. Let us defend our freedom to the death, no matter the stakes. Without freedom, we might as well be dead.
Make America great again. Once again, I retort. It has always been great. This patriot will do everything in his power to keep it that way.
