The Supreme Court has repealed Roe v Wade, effectively removing a Woman’s Constitutional Right to an abortion within the U.S.
In essence, the Court has left the issue up to individual states.
Abortion is as divisive an issue as any in our land, even more so than gun reform.
Worth noting that I am a heterosexual man.
By default, many say this forfeits my right to speak on this issue. To this, I hold no objection.
Nonetheless, being of sound mind and living in a democracy like America affords me the right to speak freely.
Since the 1973 Roe v Wade decision by The Supreme Court, abortion has become commonplace within the United States of America.
The word itself seamlessly transformed into our daily vernacular, effectively masking the act itself.
Remove the word ‘abortion’ and observe the practice for a moment.
What do you see?
The act of killing a defenceless human life.
One may refute this contention with a bevy of arguments. By all means, speak up. I am an advocate of intelligible discourse.
Differing belief systems can lead to positive outcomes. Without dogma, we can all grow.
The world is oftentimes gray, a fact lost on many who champion causes aligning with their views and beliefs.
Abortion is a complicated issue.
Two camps bombard the other on why their attitudes concerning it are bulletproof.
I believe when rape causes pregnancy, abortion is the only viable option.
Sexual assault is a deplorable human act that traumatizes the victim for life.
When the sufferer is female, pregnancy compounds the situation.
In a scenario where she becomes impregnated, abortion is the one true solution.
Those who believe otherwise simply miss the mark.
But when abortion is a means of contraception, things become muddled.
In the U.S., countless ideologies compete with one another often leading to inevitable conflict.
Left-leaning ideological views are the status quo for much of the nation and the mainstream media.
Anyone with competing views is quickly labelled out of touch and bigotted.
Regardless of one’s belief system, an individual’s right to express themselves must never be censored.
The very essence of democracy champions this.
There is a growing fraction of Americans who ascribe to the pro-life paradigm. Their attitudes hinge on how abortion has been utilized as a means of contraception.
Much of their attitudes and beliefs stem from The Bible.
Whether one agrees or not with this base, they should have the right to freely share their sentiments.
This is the basis of a free society and why millions flock to the U.S. annually.
Expect more demonstrations this summer in the wake of the repeal of Roe versus Wade. The growing divide in America is here to stay and destined to ramp up with mid-term elections slated for November.
Until then, remain vigilant, protect your loved ones and Happy 4th!

So it’s only right to murder an innocent baby if it happens to be conceived by rape? Way to go. Punish the most innocent and helpless for the sins of the guilty.

I’ve read the Constitution numerous times, so many I have lost count . The word abortion isn’t mentioned anywhere. The right to bear arms is listed in the 2nd position. Thereby showing its importance over the rest listed behind it ! Oddly the left wants to keep the ability of having abortions, while wanting to disarm the populace. How can guns be evil and must be banned while abortion is completely okay to them! The Left makes no
sense ! I believe the proper word is Hypocrite! Our President showed his ignorance yet again when he said it “abortion “was constitutionally protected! NoSir it is not ! My right to bear arms is !
