How We Let Elected Officials Take Away Our Constitutional Rights – The National Firearms Act
I have long believed that the NFA should be repealed along with the more recent ban on the ownership of new manufactured automatics. The problem, in my option, is that we need to look at this globally. While I am the last person anyone would call a globalist, I see that the laws on guns in other nations and on the “law books” of the UN (and its recent decision that self defense is not anymore a human right and its attempts to internationally ban small arms private ownership), will begin to hurt our rights if left to “progress” the way they are. So, yes, let’s get the Trumpster to do an executive order to, in essence, repeal the NFA but let’s figure out how to gain allies around the world in this fight!!!!

Thermal: FLIR Breach Field Test
Couldn’t have picked a better area to test this thing out. I think that whole area should be equipped with these and would probably help straighten out some of the things going on there. Nice story thanks for sharing.

An Honest Look at History Four Years After Ferguson
Thank-you Colin. Very much thought provoking. Your thoughts on needing communication is spot on.

Lee Loader: Survival Reloading Made Easy
I have one from the 60’s. I haven’t used it, as I have a Lee single stage reloader. You can buy a hand press from Lee, which is one step up and still portable. That would allow you to use regular dies. It is important to know that you dip with the dipper and not scoop. Scooping packs the powder, causing inaccurate measuring.

Lee Loader: Survival Reloading Made Easy
The Lee Loaders are interesting, but if you use them you really need a set of Lee Powder Dippers (the loader only comes with one) so you can vary the amount of powder you use or even use other types of powder not suited to the one scoop they include. You should also get a scale to verify how much powder the dipper is actually holding. Lee has charts you can reference, but a scale is still cheap insurance.
I would actually recommend the Lee Hand Press Kit instead of the Lee Loader. It uses standard Dies you can use in any reloading press, is very compact and can actually full length resize rifle brass. If you get the hand press and some other basic items like a loading block to hold the cases you are working with, one of Lee’s powder measures and a scale, you can fit everything you need to reload several calibers into a .50 cal ammo can.

Crimson Trace: Laser Beams in a Gunfight
I have 2 Crimson Trace lasers and love them both. They do make a big difference in being able to aim the weapons but they definitely take some training to keep on target.

Armed Good Guys: Police Encourage Citizens to Exercise 2A Rights
While it is unfortunate that these people were put in a position to need to defend themselves, these incidents are proof that law abiding citizens need the 2nd Amendment to protect themselves and their loved ones.

Armed Good Guys: Police Encourage Citizens to Exercise 2A Rights
As a U.S. Citizen immigrant from a communist country I will always support those who uphold and exercise the right to “keep and bear arms…” So, get a gun, train, practice, and vote!

Affordable Concealed Carry: SCCY
My wife purchased a SCCY early model – because it was purple. Not a real good reason to purchase a handgun.
A couple of issues – the trigger travel is extremely long since it is DAO. If you are not careful reassembling after cleaning the barrel swivel can get in the wrong place and “lock” the slide up.
I understand that this last issue has been corrected in the later models.
For a CCW pistol this one is acceptable but you do need to practice at the range to get use to the long trigger pull.

.300 Savage Cartridge and Savage 99 Rifle — The Forgotten .30
Hello, I live in Ontario, Canada, and we hunt with hounds in some thickly timbered areas where 100 yards for deer or bear is a long shot. Our Moose territory may require slightly longer shots. Regardless, 300 Savage in a Savage 99 is an excellent choice– I have three 99s in 300 Savage and one in 308 Winchester. Great old guns– well made, accurate, and reliable. I, and some of the finest old hunters I’ve ever known, trust them. I do not want a fancy new magnum.
