Is anyone watching the news of late? I am not speaking of the Russian Ukraine conflict that has pounded the airwaves for two months.

Instead of the mainstream media accounts of what is salient, digest alternative media sources and stories of Shanghai will assault your senses.

Fair warning; what you will witness is not for the faint of heart.

For the better part of forty days, citizens of Shanghai have faced lockdowns. However, unlike similar occurrences in December 2019, citizens are fighting back.

Chinese officials are dragging law-abiding citizens out of their homes, kicking and screaming; police are grabbing house pets of the infected and beating them to death on the street.

Do we hear any of this from CNN, MSNBC, and FoxNews? Of course not.

China is the new bully on the street, a true superpower with aspirations of supplanting the United States.

Their influence is heavy, allowing for their questionable tactics to go unnoticed.

Human rights violations? Who cares if money keeps rolling in.

The more one digs into the latest fiasco in China, the more obvious its trickle effect on the world becomes.

Shanghai is a port city, a vital shipping point for the International community.

Currently, commercial ships are waiting offshore to unload and be loaded.

We are talking about thousands of ships [Google it, you will see a heat map indicating the sheer volume of ships]; staggering.

The Shanghai situation has stalled much of the world’s economies and has even led to food shortages.

One trip to the local grocery store, and the immediate impact is noticeable.

Items are missing on shelves, and the ones that are present have inflated prices.

It is not a stretch to think the Western world will soon follow with lockdowns of our own.

Maybe not this summer, but bet your bottom dollar once midterm elections roll around, America will shut down to impede voters from casting their ballots.

The current Administration has been disastrous.

Gas prices are insane, the stock market is volatile, and many Americans continue to feel the strain of how the Government has handled the pandemic.

Confidence in the Biden Presidency is at an all-time low and the Democratic party is in tatters. 

Anti-establishment pundits warn that the current happenings in Shanghai are precursors to a reality where freedom no longer exists.

China is the Globalists’ wet dream. They use it as a template for how they desire to see the rest of the world.

Philosophically, any nation that crushes free will and overreaches its boundaries ceases to be democratic.

People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.

In China, it is the exact opposite. Dragging law-abiding citizens from their homes is alarmingly the norm there.

Censorship is par for the course. Citizens yield to anything the state says or suffer the consequences.

Let the Chinese Communist Party try and do the same to sovereign Americans. 

I assure you the outcome would be starkly different.
