Where do I stand? I stand in confusion! Is Wayne La Pierre really making bank off the NRA? Is THAT why they (NRA Leadership) are always begging for more money, even to the point of using guilt? When the NRA Leadership have been making almost a MILLION BUCKS a year? And, they want MY money? A good friend once told me, way back in 1975, that the NRA was it’s own worst enemy, and would be responsible for their own downfall! I laughed, back then, but, now, it seems quite likely…

First of all, the very first thing actual members need to do is STOP listening to all the rumors, especially all the comments being made by non members and the media. All are trying to divide and conquer the strongest pro-gun organization. Why is it people are so quick to listen to false and half truths. I sometime believe some organizations, I have previously supported with money, are trying to tear the NRA down just to make themselves look good. Why is it they can not unite to protect each other instead of always trying to cause turmoil. Now all we hear is who’s making so much money, if it is actual members and that is a big “IF”, the directors know this information, has anyone that is so concerned asked any of them? STOP LISTENING TO RUMORS AND THE HATERS OUTSIDE OF THE NRA!

I have seen several organizations follow the path of the NRA management as an internal auditor. I have even worked for an NRA vendor. I believe there is the possibility of tremendous waste and corruption.
I have been a member for most of my life. I will not support the NRA or the legislative arm until a full forensic accounting is completed and published to the membership.
I think the press and libs are loving it. They are making it a whole lot bigger deal than it is. I don’t approve of every thing the NRA does, but they are still the best deal in town at defending our 2nd amendment rights.

I am a bit confused and p/o’d if it is true. Being a Patron Life Member, I have given a good bit of money to the NRA over the years. I have been a Life Member since turning 18 – almost 40 years ago now. All future donations have been put on hold until the fallout is finished. Hopefully, the NRA will not be finished too.
La Pierre lands better than 2 Million, I don’t know what the others bank…but I’m sure it’s more than a Million each!
I’m a Super Life Member and all I get is the “begging” letters that they need to..”rally the troops to save the day”…because this or that legislation is bad for us.
I haven’t made a donation to the NRA in a long time and the begging doesn’t stop….and never hear about how it went combatting that threat…
Instead, I make donations to GOA, SAF, and the Firearms Coalition…
The NRA may be the Big Dog to the party but it isn’t feared or respected as it used to be.
I think it’s time to do a re-evaluation of the NRA top brass and reel in the Super Pay and Perks…
Ackerman McQueen, the Oklahoma-based public relations firm that spends tens of millions of the money we hand over and doesn’t want to account for where it’s spent…
Seems that the upper brass, like the heads of the DOJ, CIA, FBI, and NSA. Need to be sent home with reduced retirement funds.

Not another penny until we see the facts.
