WA Preemption Law Faces Political Opposition
Preemption is no more than Gun Control. You can’t disguise it. It states that they have total control over every aspect of firearms, from the equipment to make ammo where, when who and how concerning any and all areas pertaining to possession and ownership. Sounds just like the start of a fascist state!

Love my G35. It has a trigger that breaks at a measured 2.5 lbs. It is my competition gun.
~Paul Cragle
My first and favorite Glock. This gun broke me into the Glock line of pistols and I’ve been a huge fan ever since.

Armed Good Guys: Shot By Every Customer Inside…
Everyone should go to active self protection on you tube.
John does a great job of analyzing these kinds of self defense surveillance videos from all over the world.
It is a running joke over there that everyone I. Brazil is either an armed off duty cop or a criminal.
Brazilian criminals are always attacking groups of (unknown) off duty cops in restaurants, etc.
Let’s hope Bolsonaro wins the runoff election as he has campaigned for the presidency on a platform of allowing law abiding citizens to conceal carry!

Armed Good Guys: ‘I Don’t Want to Die This Way’
The Starbucks worker said something that I wish had been emphasized more in the write-up:
She said, he’s a regular customer and has always seemed so meek and polite (or, words to that effect).
I wish someone had added a comment that law-abiding concealed carrier is most likely NOT going to be a fire and brimstone spouting ‘Rambo’-type; but, a peaceable, likable, patient individual who will NOT cause you any trouble or harm but will be there and ready to help if you need it.
How many people do you encounter every day that would fit that description? . . . you’ll probably never know! . . . Hopefully you’ll never have need for their assistance. . . Are these the people you feel our politicians need to be writing new laws to regulate?!

Three Top 10mm Pistols — Pick Your Poison
I’ve been shooting 10mm for ten years and own several makes and models. As much as I like them, they are nowhere near 41 Magnum ballistics. They are roughly equivalent to a heavy 357 load.

Outrage: City Contractors Forced to Disclose NRA Ties
I am a multi-gun owner and I want the right to own and bear arms. What I do not want is the Russia Backed NRA any longer. The NRA is now a fascist anti-American organization that has turned it’s back on US citizens in support of a fascist regime. no one should be supporting the NRA right now

More Liberty Is (Almost) Always the Answer
I would like to see every citizen in all 50 States have the right to legal action against any business or institution that tries to prevent them from protecting themselves and their families and friends. We (responsible and licensed carriers) are trained and not anxious to use our weapons, but we will if we have to, Unlike the shooters we have been seeing the last few years.
But the complainant had best be able to show a legal right to carry by way of education (which should continue by way of safety classes and regular firing practise), a permit awarded by the initial class, a comprehensive background check, etc. I am a firm advocate of responsible concealed carry. I have several guns and a lot of tiny little hands around me. Those little hands don’t get near those guns. Ever. The guns are locked down tight or holstered onto my body. I do conceal carry as I figure open carry makes me the first Target for the Bad Guy.
Law enforcement, military….They are trained and, outside possible PTSD issues, should never be required to put their guns aside. I mention PTSD as I lost a nephew to suicide last year. He had served overseas for several years, been badly injured several times, and been required to do things that would break most of us as well. He tried to get help but it just wasn’t there. And that is another issue for another time.
Our government has a tendency to try to fix a problem by swatting a mosquito with a house. A lot of unnecessary damage is done and there are plenty of other mosquitoes out there.

Outrage: City Contractors Forced to Disclose NRA Ties
If they are going to ask about NRA connections, then all political connections should be disclosed to make the public expenditures truly transparent. I’ll bet some interesting ties to elected officials will be exposed. I’ve been involved in construction contracting all my life and there is always something fishy when it comes to government contracts.

Outrage: City Contractors Forced to Disclose NRA Ties
I’m a proud Patriot Life member of the NRA. I’m also an NRA Instructor and CRSO. I spent this summer shooting with many NRA member’s like myself, and I can assure you none of us are in any way associated with Russia. Just common patriots, like myself from the rurals of America. That said, the NRA is a member voting organization and every year or so I submit various ballots. I do not personally fear Russia’s influence over America: what I fear is decision making void of knowledge and logic. Making decisions based on fear and emotion is a mostly Leftist phenomenon in America. I do not fear Russia any more than I fear those mostly (Leftists) who are quick to jump to conclusions out of fear and emotion, striking the gas lights which spill onto the streets of America. America is a nation where the rule of law must rule the day, or we will be no better off than any turbulent and corrupt autocracy in the peripheral world. I have served in the streets of socialist nations, seen the hard faces of those living under tyrants, seen the lifeless bodies of those who are subjects to an agenda not their own. My advice to you is to be weary of anyone who offers you something when they have the power to take it all away. And never give up a single freedom for convenience. The NRA has done more to support your constitutional rights than any other organization, President, or leader period. You should get to know the NRA before you are quick to condemn it.
