The Arsenal SAM7K-04: New Features on a Proven Pistol
There were many innovative and exciting new products at the 2019 SHOT Show that have already put a dent in my annual firearms budget. However, not all innovation needs to be groundbreaking. Rather, sometimes innovation simply takes something that is already great and adds something simple that makes it better. That is what I found in the new Arsenal SAM7K-04 Pistol. Many of you have probably already shot or own an Arsenal SAM7K pistol and, like me, know the quality of the craftsmanship and reliability that is inherent in all Arsenal products. But, Arsenal has now made this great pistol better by integrating a picatinny rail on the back of the receiver, so now you can attach your favorite accessories. Whether that means using the included sling swivel or finding a compatible brace, the potential for enhancing this pistol just became exponentially greater. Arsenal SBR’s and One Model that is but is NOT…
If you shoot AK’s you know Arsenal by name and reputation and you know the quality of their products the second you pick one up. Arsenal Bulgaria celebrated 140 years of business and Arsenal Inc. celebrated 20 years of importing and manufacturing Arsenal products in the US. With so much history and a product that has overwhelmingly earned the respect of the AK community, it should be no surprise that as I started looking for a new short barrel AK rifle my first stop was Arsenal. As I checked out their SBR selection, there is no question I was impressed with their lineup. Three of the SBR models quickly became my focus: the SLR-104UR SBR, SLR-107UR SBR and SAM7SFK SBR. Wake Up – Midterms Matter
As kids are back to school and parents are getting back into a routine, I want to remind everyone that soon they are going to have an opportunity to shape Nevada and America unlike very few midterm elections before.
Nevada has the opportunity to elect a whole new executive branch that will shape the next four years. A new governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general are inevitable and whomever Nevada elects will have the task of assuring Nevada continues to be a place where both individuals and businesses can coexist and thrive. Dissident Arms And The VEPR 12 – Unleash The Beast
I have heard it said, the Molot Vepr 12 is a beast that is ready for almost any task. Unfortunately, with the sanctions implemented last year, this beast seems to have been cut down in its prime. With collectors calling for the last few units left in the country, the price of the Vepr—and all Molot’s for that matter—seems to continue to rise. This is unfortunate as the Vepr 12 has seemed to surge in popularity among many shooters and particularly amongst competitive shooters. How We Let Elected Officials Take Away Our Constitutional Rights – The National Firearms Act
Its 1934, and Franklin D. Roosevelt is the president, the United States is engulfed by the Great Depression with dustbowl storms sweeping across the U.S. prairies. The average annual income was $1,600, the cost of a gallon of gas was 10 cents a gallon, and the average cost to rent a house was $20 per month.
As the situation seemed hopeless, more and more people turned to anyone promising them a better life. At this time in history, the rising leaders used peoples’ fears and prejudices to rally support and create scapegoats for the world’s problems. Stalin is in power in the Soviet Union and begins the “Great Purge.” Germany’s recently elected Adolf Hitler declares himself “fuhrer” and absolute leader of the country.

Where Have All the Gun Emojis Gone?
It should come as no surprise that the technocrats are taking away your guns. No – they have not started looting your gun safe yet; however, they are replacing handguns in your catalog of emojis with a toy gun or squirt gun. On April 25, 2018, Google released an update to its emojis, which depicted a squirt gun in lieu of a pistol. This is a change from the company’s previous emojis, which have always resembled real firearms. On the same day, Microsoft jumped on the bandwagon and announced that it would change its handgun emoji to resemble a water gun in its upcoming release of Windows 10. Review: IWI Tavor X95 — Bullpup Bliss
I know there are numerous reviews and videos regarding the IWI Tavor X95 (a favorite of mine comes from Tim at Military Arms Channel). So, this review is in no way seeking to replace any of those reviews. However, as an “average joe” shooter I want to tell you that this thing is fun, and accurate, to shoot. Missouri Legislature Takes the Second Amendment a Step in the Right Direction
While other states (most recently, Oregon and New Jersey) are posturing against gun rights, yesterday (March 28, 2018) the Missouri House Rules Committee passed House Bill 1936 which expands the protections of the Second Amendment to locations and areas where you can carry concealed in its state.

ATF Lays Groundwork to Classify Bump-Stocks As MACHINEGUNS
On Friday, March 23, 2018, Attorney General Sessions announced that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is seeking to classify bump-stocks as machineguns. The Notice has not yet been published in the Federal Register, but it is available on DOJ’s website. If adopted, the rules will amend ATF’s regulations to “clarify” the terms “single function of the trigger,” “automatically,” and “machinegun” as follows: [Read more…] about ATF Lays Groundwork to Classify Bump-Stocks As MACHINEGUNS
New Jersey — The First State to Act Since the Teen Gun Control March
The first day back on the job since teens lead a march on Washington DC and New Jersey lawmakers have already voted for stricter gun laws. The New Jersey State Assembly voted today to pass six bills to make New Jersey’s already strict gun laws even tougher. This act to was not taken lightly by constituents who protested in the state’s capital. But, in New Jersey their voices appeared to be too little too late. More Sanctions On Russia
The Trump administration announced new sanctions on Russia. These new sanctions appear to be the most stringent punishment yet by Trump for Russia’s election interference. In announcing the sanctions, the administration disclosed a Russian attempt to penetrate the U.S. energy grid and that the new sanctions would punish actors for their participation in other major cyberattacks. The Safest Place to Store What I Found at SHOT Show
It’s the last day of SHOT Show and after walking the event for the last few days and identifying the new things I may need to add to my collection (you know things like the FN 15 pistol chambered in 300BLK, Franklin Armory Militia Praefector, Arex Alpha pistol, CZ Scorpion Carbine Extended Handguard, and IWI Tavor T12 Shotgun just to name a few), I realized I was going to need a new safe. A Closer Look At The Molot Sanctions
While walking around SHOT Show this year, I couldn’t help but see the ads running for the Last of Molot and directing me to Booth 11217. With the prospect of the promise of free patch and a chance to check out the last of the VEPR’s, I couldn’t resist. As many of you know, this year the federal government put the final nail in the coffin for anyone wanted access to quality Russian firearms. The question is, “Why and how did we get here?” [Read more…] about A Closer Look At The Molot Sanctions
