In the great debate of “what’s the better handgun: 1911 or Glock?”, I always fall on the side of 1911. Glock pistols shoot well, but they just don’t feel good to me. The 1911 feels good in my hands. The angle of the grip, the weight, and even the recoil when shooting. Growing up in California, the ammo capacity advantage didn’t really exist. Why Build an AR-15?
I joined the military when I was 17 years old. That was also how old I was the first time I shot a real firearm. At 20 years old I purchased my first firearm. It was a bolt action rifle because I wanted a “hunting gun”. I love that rifle, but that was foolish reasoning. You can hunt in most places with an AR platform.
