Gun Control Lawmakers Targeting Wrong People
Across the landscape this winter, lawmakers from Sarasota to San Francisco and Seattle are pressing for more gun control laws that opponents are uniformly labelling as extreme if not unconstitutional, and the proponents of these laws—uniformly Democrats—are getting a pass from the press when they offer the explanation that these new measures will reduce crime by keeping guns out of the wrong hands. Another Gun Control, Sanctuary Fail

Why Penalize All Gun Owners for Things They Didn’t Do?
With the Washington Post on Wednesday essentially singing the praises of the anti-Second Amendment group Everytown for Gun Safety, perhaps the time has come to ask the billionaire-backed gun prohibition lobby a couple of important questions. Why are you so determined to penalize the nation’s 100-million-plus law-abiding gun owners for crimes committed by a minority of miscreants, and suicides committed by self-destructive individuals whose acts of desperation are hardly reflective the firearms fraternity in general? WA Anti-Gunners Show How to Dismantle Preemption, Ban Semi-Autos
Second Amendment advocates from one coast to the other should be paying close attention to what is happening in Washington state, which has become a test tube for anti-gunners now laying the framework to dismantle state preemption statutes and ban semiautomatic firearms, and it can be traced to King County, where the Board of Health recently adopted a regulation in clear defiance of the state’s 35-year-old preemption law. Dem ‘Dirty Trick’ Backfiring in North Dakota?
With the North Dakota deer hunting opener looming – and making big news in several newspapers around the state – it’s difficult to tell whether hunters in the Peace Garden State will pick a new U.S. Senator Tuesday after the state Democratic Party hit a new low last week by attempting to convince hunters not to vote, claiming they could risk their out-of-state hunting licenses if they vote. TIME magazine is noting that this week marks the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA ’68). Did Anti-Gunners Move Too Quickly?
The Daily Wire recently took a scathing verbal swipe at anti-gunners. The anti-gunners seemed to have rushed to exploit the recent shooting at a gamer gathering in Jacksonville, Florida. The assertion is that anti-gunners use such incidents to advance their political agenda before all the facts come out. “Predictably,” the Daily Wire observed, “pro-gun control politicians and activists instantly politicized the shooting before any details were confirmed by law enforcement officials, because it is often in that window of time—when the facts are unknown—that gun control advocates are able to advance their agenda the furthest.” [Read more…] about Did Anti-Gunners Move Too Quickly?
