Supreme Court Hears Most Significant 2A Case Since Heller

The U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments Monday in what may be the most significant Second Amendment case in over a decade. The key issue before the court whether, and how far, the right to bear arms extends outside an individual’s home and into the public square. By opening an impeachment inquiry, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) likely crushed any notion of a path forward on gun legislation. White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said the move “destroyed any chances of legislative progress.” If, there are any positives coming out of the circus in Washington, it may well be an ineptness at passing legislation.
