Judiciary Committee Approves Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017

The language of the Second Amendment is pretty clear: “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” The only ones who seem unable to comprehend that simple sentence is the gun control crowd. Fortunately, for the rest of us the House Judiciary Committee just approved the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017, a measure that, if approved by Congress, would then be signed into law by the president. Doing so would do away with state prohibitions on the carrying of concealed guns for self-defense, as well as a host of other Second Amendment infringements. Steinle Jury: It Was the Gun’s Fault

I’ve gotten used to the media and the anti-gun crowd blaming the firearm every time there is a high-profile shooting event. After all, they already have an agenda to vilify guns—regardless the facts in my opinion. However, I about fell out of my chair when the jury in San Francisco found Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, a.k.a. Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, not guilty on the counts of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and involuntary manslaughter in the death of Kate Steinle but guilty of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Concealed Carry: Can You Get Involved, Legally?
